Everything worth knowing about the ST1 Classic Raw 8.5 (8 Hole Baseplate). Classic is the traditional-kingpin ST1 - familiar geometry, predictable turn, clean grinds - and Raw is the finish: bare metal that skips the paint and shows its scars honestly.

The eight-hole baseplate is the quietly useful part. Two mounting patterns in one plate mean you can shift the trucks to stretch or tighten your wheelbase without drilling anything: a longer wheelbase steadies the board out, a shorter one whips it around quicker. It is a cheap way to experiment with how your setup carves.

At 8" wide it belongs under a deck of about the same width. The specs chart has every ST1 size, weight and height if you are deciding between two.
