Board rails do two jobs, and they do both from day one: they take the scrape a boardslide would otherwise carve into your graphic, and they slide faster and more predictably than raw wood ever will - especially on rough or painted ledges.

These are the Green Apple Lines colorway - the Lines graphic in green, running the length of the rail. Prefer a different look on the same idea? The Red Lines Rails are the sibling set.

Rails also change how you grab: a defined edge under your fingers where the deck's round rail used to be. Some riders buy them for the slide, some for the graphic protection, and plenty just like the way a set finishes off a build - a strip of color running the rail line that makes the board yours from across the park.
