The Pivot Cups (Single) from Slappy Trucks. Pivot cups are the quiet workhorse of a truck - when turns get squeaky, sloppy or vague, a fresh pivot cup is usually the cheapest fix there is. Swap them at the same time you refresh bushings and the front-back response of your trucks comes back to day-one feel.

Slappy sells its parts individually on purpose - you replace the piece that wore out instead of buying a bag of things you did not need. It is the cheapest way to keep a good pair of trucks feeling new, and the reason an ST1 setup can outlast several decks' worth of skating.

A good rhythm: give the setup a once-over whenever you re-grip. Check that hardware is snug, listen for squeaks that point at the pivot, and feel for slop in the turn that points at bushings. Five minutes with a tool keeps small wear from becoming a dead truck mid-session.
