Throughout the entire pandemic, when the world stopped and things were locked down, I started messing with my trucks. I decided to start working designs, and the sampling process began shortly after. I went through so many different versions o the hangers and baseplates, experimenting with different bushings, bushing heights, hardnesses, turning radius, kingpins, polishes, and the list goes on for over two years. Finally, I got the truck to where I really like it. The main thing I wanted in a truck was to have the best grind clearance I could get without messing up the turn I wanted. I also wanted the truck to be strong, light, and have a classic look and feel. At the end of all this, it's just me trying to create something new with Slappy Trucks.
